I have cases on both my iPod Classic and iPhone 4S, and with my previous Belkin cable I would have to take the cases off to fit the cable in the headphone jack. Not with this one! It fits perfectly without having to remove the cases, and it's just the right length. And, most importantly, the sound quality is excellent! Definitely would recommend buying.
Fits perfectly with iPhone 4s and Otter Box Commuter Series case. I use the cable in my car. At first I was charging the phone at the same time I was playing music through the AUX port on the car stereo using this cable. The sound quality was poor with a lot of noise that did not change with the volume of the phone but did with the volume of the stereo. However, once I unplugged the charger, the noise went away. So the cable appears to be fine but either the charger is causing interference or that is just what happens with iPhones. Anyway --- no complaints for the cable.
Slimline connector is a must if you have a thick case like Otter Box.
